Alexander MacGillivray, son of Angus MacGillivray a blacksmith, grew up on Church St., Antigonish.
Custodial history
Copies of the letters were donated to the Antigonish Heritage Museum in 2005. The originals are in a private collection of a family member.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of photocopies of three typewritten letters of correspondence between F.B. Anaud and Alexander MacGillivray. They contain reminiscences of living in the town of Antigonish c. 1880. Anaud's father was the agent for the Union Bank of Halifax, located in Antigonish.
