Name of creator
Amy Knight Prescott was born in Sherbrook, N.S. on June 29, 1900. She attended Riverside, N.B. High School and Acadia Seminary before enrolling at Acadia University in 1921. She graduated with a B.Sc in 1924, and later a M.A. in 1933. She became a teacher at a grammar school in Fairfield, ME in 1925, before becoming assistant librarian to M.K. Ingraham at Acadia from 1928-1946. Later, she worked for the war assets office, Halifax (1947-1948) and the Premier’s office (1948-).
Scope and content
Fonds consists of textual records and photographs from Prescott's time at Acadia, including By-Laws for the Student Body, and photos of student life and activities.
