Biographical history

Baxter McCabe was born on 6 August 1863 and married Jane Creelman on 30 April 1892. The family settled at Greenfield, Colchester County, N.S. They had six children: Perley, Annie, Edith M., Jessie C., Asa and Dorothy. Baxter died 5 August 1950. Perly married Loella J. Stevens in 1917. They had a son Lorne, and a daughter Doris Jane, who was a civil servant and volunteer member of the CWAC during World War II.
