History

M. Blanche Bishop completed a BA at Acadia University in 1886 and an MA at McMaster University in 1894. She taught at Moulton College, Toronto, before being appointment a teacher of English literature, French, and German at Harding Hall in London Ontario, in 1898. Bishop came to teach at the Acadia Ladies Seminary in 1901 where she created dramatic productions in both French and German. In 1912, Bishop retired due to ill health.
