    Biographical history

    Blanche E. d'Entremont was born April 24th, 1899 died October 17th, 1995. Daughter of James G. d'Entremont and Eliza-Anne d'Entremont. Was a schoolteacher and studied to become a nun.

    Custodial history

    Pere Maurice LeBlanc and Rosalie LeBlanc, niece and nephew of Blanche, collected some of the documents in her room at the Pont du Marais Boarding Home after her death in October 17 1995, who then donated the material to the Societe Historique Acadienne de Pubnico – Ouest. Other documents were collected by Pere Clarence d'Entremont, brother of Blanche E. d'Entremont, and then donated the documents to the Societe Historique Acadienne de Pubnico-Ouest in 1998.

    Scope and content

    Fonds consists of Pere Maurice LeBlanc and Rosalie LeBlanc, niece and nephew of Blanche, collected some of the documents in her room at the Pont du Marais Boarding Home after her death in October 17 1995, who then donated the material to the Societe Historique Acadienne de Pubnico – Ouest. Other documents were collected by Pere Clarence d'Entremont, brother of Blanche E. d'Entremont, and then donated the documents to the Societe Historique Acadienne de Pubnico-Ouest in 1998.
