    Biographical history

    A. Boyd Crowe of Annapolis Royal, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia was in the first dental class to graduate from Dalhousie University, Halifax, N.S. Following his graduation, he returned to Annapolis Royal to begin his practice. His office was located in the family home on the corner of Victoria and St. Anthony streets until a fire in 1921. Thereafter he built a home at 34 School Street. Crowe was a long time member of the local school board and involved in numerous public activities. He married Nell McDormand and had two children, Bruce and Cornelia.

    Fonds consists of ledger and blank receipts from Crowe's office. Also included are clippings and random correspondence relating to family affairs and sound recordings from various performances, often featuring A. Boyd Crowe.
