Subseries consists of material relating to the Canadian Employment Centre (CEC) and Human Resources Development Canada. The Centre and its staff created the Black Working Group. This subseries includes files that represent that connection, but also more generally the work of the CEC (e.g. reports about employment, etc). The subseries also consists significant material relating to the Occupation of the Gottingen Street CEC for 122 days during 1996 (such as clippings, flyers made by the protesters, and so on).
