Biographical history
The Cape Sable Historical Society was founded in 1933 by local residents to collect and preserve all documents, papers, and other objects of interest, to throw light upon and illustrate the history of Shelburne and Yarmouth Counties; to preserve historical sites and land marks; and to promote the study of history of both Yarmouth and Shelburne counties.
