Fait partie de Claude L. Webber family fonds
Series forms part of the Claude L. Webber fonds and consists of six notebooks. Four notebooks contain accounting records for the Upper Lakeville Ladies' Sewing Guild from 1924 to 1950. Two notebooks feature lists of members, attendance records, and minutes from 1924 to 1928. Mrs. Leonard Webber and her sister-in-law, Mrs. Sandy Webber both were involved with this organization. A receipt indicates that Mrs. Alex Webber was acting as treasurer in 1927 and one account book from 1924- 1925 bears the name of Mrs. Leonard Webber. The minutes of the secretary book from 1924 to 1928 are also signed on at least one occasion by Mrs. L. S. Webber. It is probable that one or both of these ladies served as treasurer and secretary for the guild during the period of 1924 to 1950. The Upper Lakeville Ladies' Sewing Guild may also have been known as the Women’s Auxiliary, as the secretary book minutes refer to the records as those of the W. A.
