              Fonds consists of financial records belonging to William Gaetz including insurance papers, receipts, correspondence, documents related to the estate of Josephine Gaetz, and military pension information. Also included are records related to Gaetz’s time spent serving in WWI, correspondence with soldiers during WWII, records related to Gaetz’s membership in the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and the Musquodoboit Harbour United Church for which Gaetz acted as treasurer. Church records include financial papers and correspondence, account books, receipts, religious education material, meeting minutes, photographs, insurance documents, and other material. Fonds also includes records pertaining to electoral districts and voters as Gaetz was one of the revisors of the voter lists for his district.               Series forms part of the Ivan R. Kent family fonds and consists of a book containing the minutes from the congregational meetings of the Pleasant Point United Church as recorded by various members of the Kent family who served as secretary. Secretaries included Arch M. Kent (1928-1941), Phebe G. Kent (1942-1948), Mrs. Everett (Marion) Kent (1949-1971, 1973-1979), Mrs. Norman Kent (1965), and Lulu Kent (1965, 1972). Series also includes a prayer card with a pledge given by Malcolm Kent to abstain from drinking alcohol.

              Series forms part of the William Ansell Gaetz family fonds and consists primarily of the records of the Musquodoboit Harbour United Church including financial records, minutes of meetings of the board of trustees, and documents pertaining to religious education. Also includes a photograph of the church in Clam Harbour.

              Fonds consists of records of the Union Church of Lake Charlotte, Halifax County, Nova Scotia and include account books and other financial records and minutes of meetings. Included is an original account book detailing the annual list of individuals who contributed to the church, along with the amount paid to the minister. Cash disbursements and cash received are logged at the back of the book. Fonds also contains reproductions of three books containing the meeting minutes of the church dating from the first meeting in 1896 up until 1987. The books also record financial accounts of the church from 1896 to 1994, including cash disbursements and cash received. Also included with the books are reproductions of receipts and sheets of paper recording subscriptions for repairs to the church building, accounts, and other information.               Consists of six pamphlets and two books related to St. Stephen’s Church groups, activities, and church life. Includes a history of the Woman’s Auxiliary, two manuals for altar guilds, The Seven Sacrifices of the Church, The Prayer Book Through Life, and an exercise or instructional book entitled The House of God which also contains several loose pages including a list of Altar Guild weekly duties.               Series includes photocopies from microfilm baptismal, burial, and marriage records from St Paul's Anglican Church. These records show the first ninety years of baptisms, including the records generated during the settlement of Halifax and its early history, the Revolutionary War period, the Loyalist emigration to Nova Scotia, and the post-Napoleonic years. Before the establishment of St. Stephen’s parish, many of the early birth, marriage, and death records for the Lake Charlotte area can be found at St. Paul’s.
