Started by George Melville Cochrane in Fox River, Nova Scotia and taken over by his son Robert Cochrane upon his father death 1918. Closed in 1943
Best known for building 3 masted "tern" schooner and built the last schooner on the Parrsboro Shore in 1929.
Custodial history
Collected by Kenneth Cochrane, company owner and passed to son Robert and then Robert's wife Freda Cochrane who donated files to our archives.
