              Part of Lydia Webber fonds
              Series forms part of the Lydia Webber fonds and consists of several letters to Lydia Webber from her sons Harvey and Roy. Series also contains one letter from James Peter Webber (Lydia’s brother) which is addressed to Catherine (Dooks) Webber (Lydia’s mother). Series also consists of postcards, Christmas cards, and other greeting cards accumulated or created by Lydia Webber. Most of the cards are addressed to Lydia Webber and are from a variety of senders including her sons Odous, Harvey, and Roy. Some cards are also from her husband Albert, who sent them from Anticosti Island, Quebec and Souris, Prince Edward Island, possibly during fishing expeditions. Series also includes cards addressed to Albert Webber, sent by Lydia or other family members. In addition, three cards are addressed to Miss Ada Webber and one is addressed to “Harvie Webber” from “Aunt Ada”. Series also contains blank and unidentified postcards and greeting cards, as well as a number of calling cards from family members, relatives, and friends. Accession number: 2008.009

              Series forms part of Eastern Shore Seaside Park System Citizen's Representative Committee fonds and consists of Committee correspondence. Most correspondence is between the Committee Chairman and provincial government officials, and relates to enquiries and concerns of the Committee on the planning and development of the Park, and the Committee's ongoing role therein. Series also contains correspondence between Committee members and other interested parties, and copies of correspondence between external parties on topics of interest to the Committee. Included is a small amount of copies of correspondence between the Association for Preservation of the Eastern Shore and other external parties. In addition, series contains other documents associated with the correspondence or of interest to the Committee, including meeting agendas and minutes; copies of a 1937 deed; and copies of documents related to the earlier Ship Harbour National Park proposal.

              Part of Katherine L. Stoddard family fonds
              Series forms part of Katherine L. Stoddard fonds and consists primarily of letters written to Katherine Stoddard by various correspondents between 1978 and 1998, including Robert Ritcey, Robert Kim Stevens, and others. Most pertain to genealogy related to families along the Eastern Shore, however, some are also personal in nature. Series also contains two letters from the First World War addressed to Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Stoddard concerning their son Private F. T. Stoddard. There is also a note from the Mercantile Marine Office concerning the wages of Robert Stoddard and dated 1882. The series also contains letters to Katherine’s mother, Eva Stoddard, from Annabel (likely Annabel Siteman); a letter to Lena from a Ritcey, and a letter to Bob Stoddard from his brother Thomas dated 1927. Series also includes several letters written to and by Robert Ritcey concerning the development of Martinique Beach as a National Park, letters from the Department of Tourism and Culture, a letter from the Department of Education concerning a gift agreement for a donation to the Nova Scotia Museum, and a letter from the Church Conservancy of Nova Scotia.               Series forms part of the Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital fonds and consists of correspondence related to the establishment and operation of the Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital. Series includes correspondence between P. H. Weary and Jean MacLean, director of the Red Cross outpost hospitals, discussing the planning of the hospital and correspondence of Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital Inc. That file also includes a list of members of the board of trustees from 1984 and other contact information. Series also includes miscellaneous correspondence with Merrill C. Matthews and S. R.               Part of Annabel (Siteman) Ells fonds
              Series forms part of the Annabell (Sitman) Ells fonds and consists of correspondence with Mr. and Mrs. John O. Siteman, Hugh Fraser Siteman, and various other correspondents. Like many people in the early 1900s, Annabel collected postcards. The series includes a number of postcards depicting German soldiers and other German photographs written between 1910 and 1920 and predominantly written in German. Series also contains a large number of postcards sent to and from Annabel Ells from Boston, California, Scotland and other locations as well as other miscellaneous letters and cards from various individuals including correspondence with clients for whom Annabel was conducting research and responses from people to whom she had made genealogical inquiries. Also includes a list of the negatives held by NSARM and a piece of the wedding dress of John Siteman’s first wife Susan which was found in an envelope addressed to him in the Magdalene Islands a year after their marriage.               Series forms part of the James David Vaughan fonds and consists of a letter from McInnes, Lovett and MacDonald, Barristers and Solicitors, to Vaughan on behalf of a Mr. Bellefontaine of Chezzetcook, informing him that charges will be taken against him if he does not immediately pay the money owed by him to Mr. Bellefontaine for the purchase of an ox the previous month, together with the solicitors' fee.

Series also includes a postcard to William Gaetz from the United Church Observer thanking him for his gift subscription as well as a paper signed by Rev. George W. Beck dated 1928 and certifying the birth and baptism of William Gaetz.
