Series forms part of the Eastern Shore Board of Trade, District 19 fonds and consists of correspondence of the board and its members. Included is correspondence with government officials related to requests for speed zones on Highway 7, the demolition of a derelict wharf in Oyster Pond, the construction of a jetty in DeBaie's Cove, improvement of snow removal services, general road improvements and repairs, and the creation of an RCMP detachment in Lake Charlotte. Series also includes correspondence related to tourism promotion, banquets and other events which the board hosted or participated in, as well as correspondence with other organizations in which the board held membership including the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Maritime Provinces Board of Trade, and the Atlantic Provinces Economic Council. In addition, series includes reports of board sub-committees, receipts, clippings, and other material.
