The Curriculum Lab, Saint Mary's University, Halifax, Nova Scotia was established in 1977 as a student resource centre under the jurisdiction of the Faculty of Education. It provided educational resource materials such as books, computer software, as well as workshops directed towards the Education students. The Curriculum Lab closed in 1993. Known persons to hold position of Curriculum Lab Instructor: Jean Gilbert (1977-1980), [?] MacDonald (1980-1981), and Susanna Conrad (1981-1993).
Custodial history
With the closure of the Faculty of Education, the records of the Curriculum Lab were moved into an office of the former Dean of Education and amalgamated with the rest of the Faculty's papers.
Scope and content
Sous-fonds forms part of Faculty of Education fonds and consists of lab instructor's correspondence and duties, guides to using the lab and an audio-visual budget report.
