Owners of a section of marsh known as the Embree Marsh Body at Amherst, Nova Scotia, established a committee dedicated to the repair and up-keep of the Embree Marsh. This included aboiteau contruction and maintenance, for the purposes of producing fodder. W.W. Embree was appointed chairman and S.A. Logan clerk.
