Name of creator
Ervin Charles Webber was born on March 15, 1908. He was the son of Charles Henry Webber and Mary Maria Mitchell. He worked for some time as an aero engineer in Shearwater and Waterville, and during the winter months in the woods of Lake Charlotte.
Documents were from the home of Harry Bruce Webber (cousin to Ervin) and his wife Jerine Ada Arnold. Jerine kept these documents (she cared for Ervin in later years) and others related to the family until her death in 2003, when her daughter Myrtle Homans donated them to the Lake Charlotte Area Heritage Society.
Scope and content
Fonds contains two income tax filings for 1941 and 1946, and a photograph of Ervin with other aviators at Shearwater in the 1940s.
