Administrative history

The Fraser Area was formed in 1979 when Basin Lakeville Area split into two areas. It was named after Mrs. Anne C. Fraser, who was very active in Guiding and started the 1st Rockingham Brownie Pack in 1957. The Districts have changed over the years, but as of 2010 consisted of Basinview, Bedford, Canal, Hammonds Plains and St. Margaret's Bay. This area became part of Harbourside in 2011.
