Biographical history
Erastus Fraser Marks was born February 28th, 1916 in Ship Harbour. He married Evelyn Sarah Parker on June 1, 1939 and he died of stomach cancer on March 30th, 1953. Fraser worked in the Lewis & Sons Peg Factory before it burned and he practiced taxidermy as a hobby, although according to his daughter, he may have sold a number of skins.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of a number of taxidermy lessons from the North West school of Taxidermy and reflects the style of a correspondence course at this time.
