    Biographical history

    George H. Irish was born 10 November 1834. He owned a farm in Afton, N.S., and was involved with the saw mill and grist mill there. Irish died 14 February 1889.

    Custodial history

    Records were donated by Fred Irish.

    Scope and content

    Fonds consists of two small day books which recorded the sale of such things as flour, butter and nails to many members of the community.
