At the meeting, the following items were discussed: provincial electoral boundary issues, the proposed closure of Bedford Hills Road and the installation of sidewalks, the reorganization of the Heritage Advisory Committee, four-way stop at Basinview Drive/Meadowbrook Drive and a three-way stop at Meadowbrook Drive/Sunrise Hill, the renaming of Millrun Park to Scott Saunders Park, request to change the Highway 102 signage to read "Bedford - A Traditional Stopping Place", water run-off problems at 15 DeWolfe Court, an amalgamation update, Mr. Patrick Sims' appointment to the Metropolitan Housing Authority, the Bedford Volunteer Fire Department, 1995 election results, monthly reports from Fire Chief and Chief Building Inspector, vehicle replacement for the Bedford Police Department, and the proposed three year capital budget (1995-1997). 103-1R-1995-02-13

Item consists of sound recordings of a Town of Bedford public information meeting regarding the proposed regional park in the Sandy Lake area. The meeting is held at the Sandy Lake School and is chaired by Mayor Francene Cosman. In attendance are members of the Bedford Town Council - Bosko Loncarevic, Arnold Legree, Bob Short, and John Tolson - as well as County Councillor Bill McDonald and Glen Robertson from the Planning Department. Representatives from the Ecology Action Centre, Sackville River Advisory Board, Recreation Commission, and the Sandy Lake Residents' Association are also in attendance. Two presentations are given, one by Barry Zwicker, representing the Town of Bedford, and another by Jack Leedham, representing the province. Following these presentations, questions are taken from the public. The recording on the final cassette ends abruptly in the middle of the meeting. 103-1R-1980-12-10.1 to 103-1R-1980-12-10.3
