Collins' photographs predominently document the architecture and built environments of downtown Halifax, with a special focus on historic buildings and the preservation of Historic Properties and Granville Mall, which the Collins' activism was instrumental in protecting during urban renewal developments in the mid 1960s. Pam continued to photograph the Historic Properties area into the early 2010s. In addition to heritage-focused work, Pam actively documented her and Lou's participation in community events, and people on the streets of the city. CR30K
