Item consists of a video-recording of various Bedford Heritage '80 television programs about the history of Bedford. First is an interview with Elsie Churchill Tolson on her book ""The Captain, the Colonel and Me"" about Lewis House and the history of Bedford. In this recording the interviewer and Tolson walk the Fort Sackville site and discuss its history (00:00:00 to 00:54:40); then there is a recording of ""Bedford Heritage 80': Trains"" hosted by Joseph Foy and written and presented by George Christie. George Christie narrates a photo and video slide show on the railway history of Bedford showing the railway terminal, views of the Bedford Basin and trains.:( 00:56:00 to 01:32:00). The next recording is another episode of Bedford Heritage '80 titled ""The University of Michigan Connection"". Elsie Tolson is interviewed at her house about Bedford history and Fort Sackville and the connection to the University of Michigan -- which holds letters by John Gorham and maps of Fort Sackville: (01:33:00 to 02:09:48). The next recording is another episode of Bedford Heritage '80, ""Bedford Tennis Club"" in which George Christie presents a talk about the club which includes many photographs of historic Bedford and the club: (02:10:18 to 02:43:46).
