Series also includes material, mainly clippings, related to the conflict surrounding expropriation of land at Kouchibouguac National Park in New Brunswick. In addition, series contains a comprehensive study of District 18, Halifax County in 1972 conducted by local residents following Hurricane Beth which caused damage to the pulp mill in Sheet Harbour, resulting in the need to establish a new industry in the area. The goal of the study was to determine what industries were feasible for the area with the resources that were available.
