Subseries forms part of Records of the Secretary-Treasurer series and consists of correspondence and reports of the secretary-treasurer (1963-1985); correspondence regarding the John Derrick Prize (1973-1984); correspondence re: E.A. Murray Memorial (1975-1985); correspondence re: M.H. Roechling Memorial Scholarship (1968-1985); a presentation on the history of the guild (ca. 1976) prepared by Irma Barnes and notes on Edgehill closings; newspaper clippings kept by Barnes (1962-1985); notebooks of contributors to the bazaar (1955-1965) and names for the entertainment of Roedean (1941-1942). The E.A. Murray Memorial is in memory of Miss Murray who taught English at Edgehill. The M.H. Roechling Memorial Scholarship of ,000.00 was given yearly in memory of Miss Roechling who was headmistress from 1919-1946.

Edgehill Guild Magazine (1902-1962) and the Edgehill Guild Newsletter (1963-1984). The Edgehill Guild Magazine was started in 1902. In the Guild minutes of 1962 it was decided to publish a News Sheet instead of magazine, and the name was changed to the Edgehill Guild News, later the Edgehill Guild Newsletter. Editors of the Edgehill Guild Magazine included A. Starr (1913), J. Weeks (1917), Madeline McDeinout (1919), Catherine Coll (1920), Violet Kaulbach (1922-1923), A. Peake and D. Simpson (1924-1928), Mrs. White (1929), Miss Crossby (1939), Joan Bromley (1955), M. Eaton (1959-1963), Alice MacKinnon (1964-1966), Connie Crossley (1967-1978), Rita Dixon (1979-1980), June Muir (1983).

records relating to various Edgehill Guild trusts accumulated by the secretary-treasurer. An Endowment Fund was established sometime in the 1930's. The Living Endowment and the Permanent Endowment were established in 1961 at the time of Edgehill's Seventieth birthday. In 1962 the Edgehill Foundation Trust was created for the safe-keeping and investment of the Permanent Endowment. The Canada Permanent Toronto General Trust Co. of Halifax consented to act as trustee for this purpose. The signing officers for the guild at the time included the headmistress of Edgehill, who was also president of the guild. Subseries consists of a ledger of members and dues (1934-1974), and investment information of the Edgehill Guild (1962-1974); treasurer's reports (1968-1985); records of various Edgehill Guild trusts, including the Church School for Girls Trust and information about bond investments, the F.C. Manning Estate Charitable Fund Trust and the Edith L. Carpenter Estate Edgehill Dramatic Prize Fund (1954-1983); receipts for flowers, newsletter printing, and other guild purchases (1968-1985); cancelled cheques and bank books, receipts and financial statements of the Edgehill Guild (1966-1985) and includes correspondence and reports by Irma Barnes, receipts for the Permanent Endowment (1967) and the Edgehill Bed Fund cheque and bank book (1976-1977). The Bed Fund was not a guild account, but was a project started by Headmistress Gail Emmerson, separate from the school accounts and guild accounts.
