File consists of material relating to the planning of two Institute conferences, one in 1993, and 1994's "Law, Authority, and Consent in the Roman Catholic Tradition" (held in October 1994). Includes correspondence, schedules, a copy of a paper by John MacCormack presented at the 1994 conference ("Catholicism and Freedom: A Paradoxical History"), and flyers. Much of the correspondence is with Prof. Cary Nederman, and the file contains two off-prints of his ("Freedom, Community, and Function: Communitarian Lessons of Medieval Political Theory", and "The Union of Wisdom and Eloquence Before the Renaissance: The Ciceronian Orator in Medieval Thought"). 2006.031.1, Series 2, File 6
