Consists of personal and business correspondence between members of the Hart family, including William Hart, Lewis Hart, Albert Hart and George Hart; and correspondence of Levi Hart & Son in Halifax with George E. Forsyth & Co., also in Halifax, and Delong & Seaman, General Merchants, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Also includes account ledgers and scrapbooks (compiled by Hart & Co.), which include samples of a variety of letterhead and stationery of firms the company did business with. MG 3 volumes 4881-4889
