Fonds consists of journals kept by Yates regarding his daily work. They chronicle what type work was being done, for whom and they also record payment and maitenance on the studio. Fonds also consists of three archival boxes of prints made from the glass negatives.

Fonds consists of William Chirgwin's textual records, including correspondence concerning a ship that was seized by the Peruvian government in World War 1. MG 12.176

William Ansell Gaetz family fonds

Fonds consists of financial records belonging to William Gaetz including insurance papers, receipts, correspondence, documents related to the estate of Josephine Gaetz, and military pension information. Also included are records related to Gaetz’s time spent serving in WWI, correspondence with soldiers during WWII, records related to Gaetz’s membership in the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and the Musquodoboit Harbour United Church for which Gaetz acted as treasurer. Church records include financial papers and correspondence, account books, receipts, religious education material, meeting minutes, photographs, insurance documents, and other material. Fonds also includes records pertaining to electoral districts and voters as Gaetz was one of the revisors of the voter lists for his district. In addition, fonds includes lists of officers of the Musquodoboit Harbour Volunteer Fire Department and other material. Accession number 2012.001

Weldon Wood Patton fonds

Fonds consists of the writings of Weldon Patton, a selection of newspaper clippings, correspondence, photographs, family genealogy and two case books from his medical practice, concerning men who had served in World War 1 and were seeking medical proof of disability MG 15.21

Wallace Russell fonds

Fonds consists of material created and/or accumulated by W. Hugh Conrod. Material was created around 1920, probably in the 1930s, and around 1967. Fonds is arranged into two series: photographs, and research material. Accession number 2010.005.

Vincent Young fonds

Fonds consists of one audio cassette, featuring Vincent Young singing folk songs from the West Petpeswick area at a kitchen party in West Petpeswick. Songs include Rango’s Boots and The Bear Song. Rango’s Boots is about the very large boots worn by George William “Rango” Bayers while The Bear Song was from the late 1800s and referred to a bear that tormented livestock on the west side of Petpeswick Harbour. Also contains copies of transcripts of the lyrics of both songs including information about Rango Bayers. George William “Rango” Bayers was born in 1829 and died 1916 in West Petpeswick. His parents were Nutting Bayers and Marie (Warner) Bayers. He was married to Elizabeth Ann (Eliza) Clerge c. 1854. They had at least two children; Annie Belle (Annabel) Bayers (m. Dennis Aisley Greenough) and Henry William (Harry) Bayers (b. 1855). Rango was a large, distinguished looking man. He worked as a farmer and is thought to have owned a substantial amount of property, including several islands in Petpeswick Harbour and a gold or silver mine. His daughter, Annie Belle (Annabel) provided the lyrics and melody to the song, Farewell to Nova Scotia, to Helen Creighton who recorded it in 1933. The banjo player in the sound recording accompanying Vincent Young may have been Marshall Bayers. Accession number 2013.001

Union Church (Lake Charlotte, N.S.) fonds

Fonds consists of records of the Union Church of Lake Charlotte, Halifax County, Nova Scotia and include account books and other financial records and minutes of meetings. Included is an original account book detailing the annual list of individuals who contributed to the church, along with the amount paid to the minister. Cash disbursements and cash received are logged at the back of the book. Fonds also contains reproductions of three books containing the meeting minutes of the church dating from the first meeting in 1896 up until 1987. The books also record financial accounts of the church from 1896 to 1994, including cash disbursements and cash received. Also included with the books are reproductions of receipts and sheets of paper recording subscriptions for repairs to the church building, accounts, and other information. Accession numbers 2004.015, 2009.044, and 2013.040

Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital fonds
