Collection consists of copies of a deed, a will, and a property record related to people and places along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, accumulated by the Eastern Shore Archives. Records were created in 1982. Collection includes the 1883 will of Isaac Webber Sr. of Lakeville, an 1878 deed recording Isaac Webber’s purchase from Charlotte Garrott and Eve Parker of a parcel of land in Lakeville, and an 1850 document recording Isaac Webber’s purchase of a parcel of land between Ship Harbour and Clam Harbour. Collection consists of postcards accumulated by Anna Barbara Webber. Postcards date from 1905 to 1914, but predominantly from 1906 to 1912. Most postcards are addressed either to Anna Barbara or to her (then) future husband William Wilson Webber, although there are also some to other family members. Most of the postcards refer to events and activities on the Eastern Shore and in Dartmouth, where Anna Barbara lived during this time period. Postcards are each assigned an individual number from 1 to 696, and are arranged into five categories pertaining to their styles or types: postcards representing specific communities, landscape postcards, photograph postcards, greeting cards, and romance cards. Within each category, cards are arranged in order of their number. Accession number 2008.013.

Collection consists of copies of transcriptions of headstone inscriptions from various cemeteries across the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. Records were created between about 1972 and about 2002. The transcriptions are handwritten, and most were created by genealogist Terrance Punch. Fonds also includes copies of cemetery records. Accession number 2003.010.

Collection consists of daily attendance registers from various schools along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, accumulated by the Easter Shore Archives. Records were created between 1891 and 1987, and in about 2003. Registers date from 1891 to 1987 and are usually identified by school name, section number, district or municipality, county, and school year. Some schools have a more complete range of records than others. Information recorded in the registers includes full name of student, date of birth, record of vaccination and inoculations, and name and address of parent or guardian. A variety of additional annual statistics and prescriptions are also included. Most of the registers are arranged by school name and chronologically within each school. Collection also includes a copy of a 1920-1921 register from the Sheet Harbour Road school, produced ca. 2003. Architectural drawings for residence at 38 Dominion Street, Truro, NS.Built in 1903, this 2.5 story wood frame structure was designed by E. D. Vernon. It is an excellent example of the Queen Anne Style with many classical details including bays, gables, fluted Corinthian columns, Palladian windows, and dentils. It was built by Frank Stanfield Sr. for his bride beside the original family property #44. 87.2.2 to 87.2.9

Collection consists of copies and transcriptions of records from various churches and parishes that were located on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia or which were used by Eastern Shore residents. The collection contains baptismal, marriage, burial, and confirmation records along with other church records, dating from 1752 to 1982. Collection consists of records donated to and accumulated by the Musquodoboit Harbour Heritage Society, relating to the history of communities and inhabitants along the Eastern Shore. The records consist of interview tapes and transcripts, photographs, land records, and information pertaining to the history of industries and services on the Eastern Shore as well as heritage houses. Collection consists of images and ephemera donated by Nola Stoddart from her family's collection of second-world war era mementoes. Includes 1940-1941 dated photographs of Orpheus Theatre window displays for George Formby's "Keep Your Seats Please", Point Pleasant Park gates, Sailors Memorial and Martello Tower in Point Pleasant Park, war-time parades passing Kay's department store, Public Gardens fountains, All Saints Cathedral,Dalhousie University campus and the University of King's College Main building, Dingle Memorial Tower, and other unidentified local scenes. The unidentified ships in the harbor in .18 and .19 are "four-stack" destroyers, likely transferred from the USA to Canada in 1940 as part of the Destroyers for Bases deal between the USA and the UK. Postcards from the 1960s depict Dalhousie and St. Mary's universities, Sailors Memorial at Citadel Hill, the MacDonald Bridge, Grace United Church in Dartmouth, St. Paul's Church in Halifax, the Halifax Memorial Library, and two postcards from 1940s showing the Old Town Clock and an aerial view of Citadel Hill. Textual records include programs from the 1944 Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Halifax War Memorial; the May 21, 1944 Empire Youth Sunday held at the United Services Forum; the July 2, 1967 Service of Worship and Thanksgiving for Canada's Centennial, held at Dartmouth Park. Also included are a 1937 invoice from the Oxford Dairy, and a mimeograph of a poem of unknown origins about the VE Day Riots in May 1945 titled "The Battle of Halifax." CR56

Collection consists of photographs and post-cards of Nova Scotia Light and Power electric trams, Trailways charter buses and Dartmouth Transit and Halifax Transit buses; transit maps, tickets and transfers. Photos show trams in downtown Halifax in 1959 and 1968; Trailways Starliner buses at the Commission St. garage, 1978; Dartmouth Transit buses at the Dartmouth Mall loop, as well as a bus-stop sign, 1978; and buses at the Halifax Transit garage on Young St., and at Mumford terminal with Simpson's in background, 1978. Post cards show the last Birney trolley car in Halifax, 1948; the first articulated bus built in Canada used on the Metro Transit #20 Glen Forest run, 1992; NSLP trolley coach outside the CNR railway station in 1967, and a trolley car on Barrington St. at Grand Parade, ca. 1910. There are explanations on the backs of some of the post-cards.Bus Route maps are from Dartmouth Transit, which includes the ferry schedule (197?),and Halifax Transit (1971 and 1978). Tickets are from Nova Scotia Light and Power, Halifax Transit and the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission; transfers are from Dartmouth Transit, Halifax Transit and Metro Transit.
