Correspondence
Series forms part of Eastern Shore Seaside Park System Citizen's Representative Committee fonds and consists of Committee correspondence. Most correspondence is between the Committee Chairman and provincial government officials, and relates to enquiries and concerns of the Committee on the planning and development of the Park, and the Committee's ongoing role therein. Series also contains correspondence between Committee members and other interested parties, and copies of correspondence between external parties on topics of interest to the Committee. Included is a small amount of copies of correspondence between the Association for Preservation of the Eastern Shore and other external parties. In addition, series contains other documents associated with the correspondence or of interest to the Committee, including meeting agendas and minutes; copies of a 1937 deed; and copies of documents related to the earlier Ship Harbour National Park proposal.

Series forms part of Association for Preservation of the Eastern Shore fonds and consists of records of the Associations financial transactions, including receipts, accounts, bills, chequebooks and bankbooks. Series also contains meeting minutes, a membership list, a Parks Canada publication entitled Park Scan, and other material.

Series consists of meeting minutes of the Committee. Series includes minutes of meetings of the full Committee, of the Executive Committee (a sub-committee), and of joint meetings with provincial park planners. Also included in the series are related correspondence, meeting agendas, Committee member lists, and other documents.

Included in the ledger book is a handwritten resolution related to the takeover of the company by the Maritime Telephone and Telegraph Company, as well as a telephone bill. Accession number 2009.039

Part of Union Church (Lake Charlotte, N.S.) fonds
Series forms part of the Union Church fonds and contains a minute book recording the annual meetings of the Lake Charlotte United Church from 1961 to 1995. Book records the names of officials and other individuals, the activities of the Church, financial reports including mission and service reports, Sunday school reports, and treasurers’ reports. The back of the book also contains financial statements from various years. The majority of the book was kept by Mrs. Gertrude Turple, who served as secretary from 1966 to 1987, and Olga J. Kidson who served as secretary and treasurer from 1988 to 1999. Other secretaries and acting secretaries included Mrs. Reg Webber, Marguerite A. Webber, Mavis Turple, and Clara Kidson. Series also contains reproductions of three books of minutes of meetings of the church beginning with the first meeting in 1896. The books also record accounts of the church, including cash disbursements and cash received. Also included with the books are reproductions of receipts and sheets of paper recording subscriptions for repairs to the church building, accounts, and other information.
