Item is a photograph of an aerial experiment by Alexander Graham Bell. A kite built by the Bell Laboratory is tested on the frozen Bras d'Or Lakes at Baddeck Bay. It is believed that this is a photograph of the first flight of the Cygnet I, a giant kite consisting of 3,393 tetrahedral cells, which occured in December 1907. 76-15
