Item consists of one book containing handwritten minutes of the Clam Harbour Ladies Sewing Circle recorded by secretary, Muriel Stevens from 1950 to 1952. Opening pages seem to suggest that the sewing circle was just being formed on March 15, 1950. Minutes record where the meetings were held, members in attendance, election of officials, plans for and outcomes of fundraisers, records of donations, and work done for the Church and Manse both by the Sewing Circle independently and in collaboration with other groups such as the Musquodoboit Harbour Ladies Aid Society. The book also contains an attendance list in the back that includes the names of all the Sewing Circle members. Accession number: 2013.034

Fonds consists primarily of records created and accumulated by Claude Webber’s parents, Leonard Stanley and Greta (Lewis) Webber as well as Claude’s aunt, Mrs. Alexander ‘Sandy’ Webber (Ada Parker). Greta and Ada Webber were both involved with the Upper Lakeville Ladies' Sewing Guild. Fonds also consists of Leonard Webber’s military records from World War I, the account books and receipts of the Ladies' Sewing Guild, and other invoices and receipts. Accession number 2013.037

Fonds consists of records of the East Jeddore School and consists of a ledger which records school taxes owed by individual taxpayers for the period of 1930-1936, along with their payment status. Also recorded are teacher salaries, supply costs, insurance fees, and other expenses for the same period. In addition, the ledger book includes minutes of school meetings from 1923-1935. Also includes a sheet of paper which records valuations of taxpayers’ property in East Jeddore and school taxes for 1921. Accession number 2009.039

Collection consists of copies of a deed, a will, and a property record related to people and places along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, accumulated by the Eastern Shore Archives. Records were created in 1982. Collection includes the 1883 will of Isaac Webber Sr. of Lakeville, an 1878 deed recording Isaac Webber’s purchase from Charlotte Garrott and Eve Parker of a parcel of land in Lakeville, and an 1850 document recording Isaac Webber’s purchase of a parcel of land between Ship Harbour and Clam Harbour. Collection consists of daily attendance registers from various schools along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, accumulated by the Easter Shore Archives. Records were created between 1891 and 1987, and in about 2003. Registers date from 1891 to 1987 and are usually identified by school name, section number, district or municipality, county, and school year. Some schools have a more complete range of records than others. Information recorded in the registers includes full name of student, date of birth, record of vaccination and inoculations, and name and address of parent or guardian. A variety of additional annual statistics and prescriptions are also included. Most of the registers are arranged by school name and chronologically within each school. Collection also includes a copy of a 1920-1921 register from the Sheet Harbour Road school, produced ca. 2003. Collection consists of copies of half-yearly returns of schools along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. The returns date from 1828 to 1839 and give information about the teachers and students at the schools, as well as giving a small amount of information about fee payments and the schools' general finances. Records were copied between about 1972 and about 2002. Accession number 2003.010.
