This fonds consists of postcards (with correspondence) to John Hunt, Charles Davis, and Winnifred Davis, together with a c.1905 photo album. The latter belonged to Sadie C. Hunt and includes photographs of Mahone Bay area landscapes, boats, houses, people (including her brother John E. Hunt), and a few photos from other parts of Nova Scotia and possibly the US. MBMS-60

Fonds consists of correspondence, financial records, legal documents, academic records, photographs, collection records, and diaries pertaining to the lives of members of the Inglis-Quinlan family. The fonds comprises six series: Photographs, Inglis-Quinlan Store Records, Charles and Cassandra Inglis Records, Grace Quinlan Records, Percy Inglis Records, and Clara Quinlan Records. The accrual processed in 2020 consists of photographs accumulated by Clara Quinlan and the following textual documents: two volumes of Cara Quinlan’s diaries as well as her correspondence with Tom Forrestall, Will R. Bird, and others; notes on a controversial Inglis family adoption and other genealogical information; miscellaneous records relating to the Percy Inglis China Collection, including two guest books, draft articles, miscellaneous correspondence, and other documents; and notes and memoranda concerning Mahone Bay. Collection · 1880 - 1970
The collection consists primarily of photographs documenting the history of the town of Mahone Bay and the immediate surrounding areas in Lunenburg County. The collection, which includes original photographs, copy prints, and postcards (real photos and halftones), depicts many different facets of the lives of the people of the Mahone Bay community: bands; buildings and street views; celebrations and events; cemeteries; churches; the First World War; the Masonic Lodge; people; photo albums; school photos; the Second World War; shipbuilding; street views; and town views. There are also a number of stereoviews (original photographs and printed halftones) that portray a wide variety of non-local subjects, including the operations of the T. Eaton Company, various Canadian views, the San Francisco Earthquake, the Russo-Japanese War, the Holy Land, and various scenes of rural life and domestic comedy, including the impact of the “New Woman.” MBMS-14
