Fonds consists of a scrapbook compiled by Charles F. Longley. It primarily documents Longley's interest in the Melville Park/Melville Cove properties adjacent to his land on the west side of the Northwest Arm, owned by Sandford Fleming and the War Department (DND). The scrapbook contains correspondence, mortgage documents, tax assessments from the County of Halifax and surveyor's reports. There are also newspaper clippings, photographs and letters about his company and the boats he owned, and his family. CR17

Collection consists of photographs collected by the Keshen-Goodman family. Photographs show the family, friends and pets, the family's home on Oakland Rd., Halifax, their cottage on St. Margaret's Bay, golfing at Brightwood Golf Club, Louise and Marion's sojourn working with the Canadian Red Cross Society's Overseas Detachment during World War II, and family trips to Florida, Ontario and Europe. Some photographs are dated and identified by the family on the back, but most are not. CR19

Collection consists of photographs of various views of the site at the corners of Barrington, Argyle and Sackville Streets in downtown Halifax prior to Canada Permanent constructing its new building at 428 Barrington Street. There is also an artist's rendition of the new building. Buildings shown are New Service Restaurant, Garrick Theatre, Zellers, Carleton Hotel, Rosedale Nurseries, Diana Cigar Store, American Sweet Shop, The Herald, D'Allairds Loans, Tailor Made Eating. Fonds consists of files compiled by Bob Frame, leader of a residents' campaign against the relocation of Little Nashville country music cabaret to the Canal Street area of downtown Dartmouth. Dartmouth residents fought the request by Little Nashville owner Cyril O'Hearn to transfer his cabaret liquour licence when his 20 year-old Alderney Drive location was demolished for construction of the new library/civic centre, later named Alderney Gate. Records include reports, petitions to Dartmouth City Council, letters of support, newsclippings, correspondence with the Nova Scotia Liquor License Board, notices of public meetings, research notes, and photographs of the Canal Street area of Dartmouth. Fonds consists of scrapbooks, photographs, minutes, and correspondence with an adopted family in England during and following the Second World War. The family was suggested to the Margaret Rose Friendship Club by the Red Cross. The scrapbooks are handwritten accounts of the group's activities and include member lists, financials, photographs, and decorations from contemporary resources. CR23
