Collection consists of home movies filmed by members of a Halifax family from the late-1930s to the late-1950s. The records capture important Halifax events, including the opening of the Angus L. MacDonald Bridge and several Natal Day parades, as well as more intimate family moments, such as vacations, outdoor activities, and celebrations. Since the family most likely lived in the South End of the city, the content frequently features Northwest Arm boat clubs, Dalhousie University, and South End streets. CR64
