Sub-series consists of bound and single year volumes of Town of Dartmouth annual reports. While content of these reports changes over the years as the Town government became more involved in regulating and providing municipal services, annual reports typically include: Government of the Town of Dartmouth (names of representatives and senior employees); Mayors of the Town of Dartmouth; Mayor's Report; Report of the Finance Committee; Report of the Committee on Streets and Public Property; Report of Fire Committee; Report of the Committee on Poor and Lunatics; Report of Police Committee; Report of Licenses Committee; Report of Dartmouth Municipal Court; Report of School Commissioners; Report of Housing Committee; Report of Water Committee; Tax Collector's Report; Auditor's Report; Report of the Ferry Commission; Report of the Dartmouth Park Commission; Report of Health Officer; and the Report of the Public Reading Room [library]. Sub-series consists of the minutes, photographs and running race event files from the City of Dartmouth Natal Day Committee. Running race event files include documentation the Committee generated in organizing Natal Day races; including promotional brochures, race schedules, lists of race referees, participants' race times for the 2 mile and 6 mile and Royal Theatre (participants younger than 18 years of age) races, race routes, and correspondence. Also includes reports from Natal Day committees such as the sports chairman, the parade judges, the 1984 Queen of the Lakes pageant, and the Chairman of the Natal Day committee, and budgets over the years. Also contains photos of the 1984 Queen of the Lakes winner Patricia Ann Kane, first runner up Melodi Darlene Shephard, and second runner up Darlene Catherine Kirby. The event photographs were used in Harry Chapman's 100 Candles: Dartmouth Natal Day 1895-1995 book (available through the Reference Collection, and appear to be from originals at the Dartmouth Heritage Museum. 101-27

Sub-series consists of reports from the Sports chairman, parade judges committee, the Queen of the Lakes pageant, and from the 1983 and 1984 Chairman of the Natal Day committee. Also includes a list of the parade prize winners, recommendations from the Lions Club for future events for the Natal Day Ball such as live music for reception and dinner, an established theme, and the presence of a socially prominent guest. Natal Day annual reports include the road race and parade reports, and budgets. Also contains photos of the Queen of the Lakes 1984 winner Patricia Ann Kane, first runner up Melodi Darlene Shephard, and second runner up Darlene Catherine Kirby, and a poster of the of Queen of the Lakes 1984 contestants. 101-27-1
