The fonds consists of documents and photographs that demonstrate the activities of the Maritime Home for Girls from its opening through to its re-designation. Materials included are newspaper clippings, minutes, annual reports, ephemera, and photographs. The fonds has had accruals since the initial acquisitions in 1999.
