Collection consists of photographs and post-cards of Nova Scotia Light and Power electric trams, Trailways charter buses and Dartmouth Transit and Halifax Transit buses; transit maps, tickets and transfers. Photos show trams in downtown Halifax in 1959 and 1968; Trailways Starliner buses at the Commission St. garage, 1978; Dartmouth Transit buses at the Dartmouth Mall loop, as well as a bus-stop sign, 1978; and buses at the Halifax Transit garage on Young St., and at Mumford terminal with Simpson's in background, 1978. Post cards show the last Birney trolley car in Halifax, 1948; the first articulated bus built in Canada used on the Metro Transit #20 Glen Forest run, 1992; NSLP trolley coach outside the CNR railway station in 1967, and a trolley car on Barrington St. at Grand Parade, ca. 1910. There are explanations on the backs of some of the post-cards.Bus Route maps are from Dartmouth Transit, which includes the ferry schedule (197?),and Halifax Transit (1971 and 1978). Tickets are from Nova Scotia Light and Power, Halifax Transit and the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission; transfers are from Dartmouth Transit, Halifax Transit and Metro Transit. Collection · 1994 - 1995
The collection contains the textual, graphic, and audio records of the oral history project. Twelve people from the Truro area were interviewed and the collection is arranged with a series for each interviewee. Audio cassettes and one videotape were recorded during the interviews. Included with each audio cassette is a transcription and a journal written by the student about their experience. Digital videodiscs were later created in 2013 from the audio cassettes for preservation of the recordings. 95.88.1 - 12

Collection consists of copies of half-yearly returns of schools along the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. The returns date from 1828 to 1839 and give information about the teachers and students at the schools, as well as giving a small amount of information about fee payments and the schools' general finances. Records were copied between about 1972 and about 2002. Accession number 2003.010.

Consists of receipts, invoices, account statements, and related shipping documents from various vessels that sailed from the Maritimes to various foreign ports. The contents include documents for the following vessels: Annapolis, J.W. Parker, L. Delap, Ostrich, Pandora, Avon, S.S. Lovat and Waterloo among others. Also includes captains' documentation (certificates, logbooks), a Sable Island logbook, images from the Halifax Port Authority, and some records of Pickford and Black and the White Ensign Association. 1997-174
