The subject of the essay are the experiences of the participants in SMU's "Shakespeare: Text and Performance" class (taught by Dr. Hill and Dr. Stanivukovic). The third is a letter from John Dickey to Saint Mary's University President Kenneth Ozmon in 1992 discussing the earlier letters and the donation. 1999.28

Fonds consists of class photographs from Saint Mary's College for 1930, 1931, and 1932, taken on the front steps of the main building of the Windsor Street Campus (the photographs include Mr. Fry). The series also contains an interview conducted by SMU Archivist Anne MacLean with Fry and his classmate Bob Kaplan on 16 June 1999. In this interview, Fry discusses teachers he had, his fellow classmates, memories, as well as religious divisions he experienced growing up in Halifax. 2001.006.1
