File consists of two handwritten letters by Charles Tupper. The earlier is an 1887 letter of introduction to Sir Andrew Clark regarding Mr. Freeborn, a Canadian medical student in London. Also included is a letter from Robert Glasgow, Managing Director of The Publishers Association of Canada, outlining the agreement of editorial and illustration work undertaken by Jefferys on a multi-volume series of the works of Haliburton.
