Collection consists of records compiled or accumulated by Sharon MacDonald, including correspondence, promotional items, photographs, press clippings and related documentation. The contents of the collection include documents relating to her uncle, Roland F. Harris, as well as files of Mr. W.P. Potter, a lawyer who practiced in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. Mr. Potter's files include information about Lady Bessie B. Borden, the Nova Scotia Tuberculosis Commission, and the Nova Scotia Motor League and their publication, The Headlight, along with photographs of 1920s car crashes and wrecks and the ship, Lady Nelson. Also includes some genealogical information about her Murray family connections and more specifically the descendants of Alexander (1765-1826) and Mary (Beaton or Matheson) Murray of Achnagarrin Farm in Rogart, Sutherlandshire, Scotland. Consists of recordings of oral history interviews conducted by Dr. Medjuck during the course of her research for her book Jews of Atlantic Canada. Fourty-four members of Atlantic Canada's Jewish communities are represented. Two groups of individuals were interviewed: active community leaders (indicated by an "A" under "group") and individuals who could provide personal reminiscences of their experiences as Jews in the region (indicated by a "B" under "group"). Fonds consists of Halliburtons judicial papers and personal correspondence, 1788-1859. Most of the documents pertain to Halliburtons career as Supreme Court justice, 1833-1853, consisting of court case documents, legal opinions and decisions on rules of evidence and points of law. Also includes Halliburtons addresses to court colleagues, and his commissions as puisne judge of the Supreme Court and for other positions. The personal correspondence was with colleagues and relatives, largely concerning financial matters and real estate. The documents were arranged in chronological order after donation. Consists of 30 VHS videotapes containing 33 television advertisements submitted to the Time4Dsign competition in the TV Advertisement category (3.05). The competition was juried, and organized by the Atlantic Chapter of the Society of Graphic Designers of Canada. Seven-hundred entries were considered, submitted by over 90 graphic designers and directors working across Atlantic Canada. The other categories in the competition included: (1) Visual identity programs; (2) Publications; (4) Product; (5) Environmental; and (6) Special.

Includes an almost complete set of printed annual reports,1876-1999, two original minute books, 1872-1919, printed manuals and rule books, a scrapbook compiled by member Jack Leydon with clippings and articles on the history of the Halifax Council, and a videocassette depicting the local activities of the Halifax Council, 1981.The printed reports include not only annual reports but also treasurer's financial statements, records of charitable work accomplished, and lists of subscriptions and donations.
