A student counsellor has been available on campus since 1953. Counselling Services was established in 1972 and reports to the Director of Student Services. 'Counselling Services provides short-term personal and career counselling and educational planning' (brochure, n.d.). Counselling Services includes the Aboriginal Student Office (1998-1999), the Black Student Advisor (1998-1999), the Peer Office (1991-1999), and the Sexual Harassment Advisor (1988-1999).
