Includes a history of the Woman’s Auxiliary, two manuals for altar guilds, The Seven Sacrifices of the Church, The Prayer Book Through Life, and an exercise or instructional book entitled The House of God which also contains several loose pages including a list of Altar Guild weekly duties. Item consists of a poem written by Burns Marks about an accident in the Moose River mine in which three Toronto men went into the mine and were trapped by a cave in. Local miners launched a rescue effort and two of the men were saved, however one died in the mine. Accession number: 2013.063

Item consists of a treasurer's book of the Home & School Association of Jeddore Oyster Pond, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, covering the period from 1943 to 1958. Recorded in the book are receipts from the Association’s various income sources, as well as expenses for its various programs and events. Also included in the expenses are “equalization” fees which may have been intended for other affiliated home & school associations, and sums for the purchase or rental of a Gestetner copying machine. Fonds consists of financial records of St. John's Anglican Church, Oyster Pond, N.S., and includes a book listing donations received by the church with the names of the donors, collections information, records of money received from hall rentals, and other income sources. The book also records money paid to the minister and other miscellaneous expenses for the years 1941 to 1943. Some transactions and calculations are also recorded on loose sheets of paper. Also included are receipts from wholesale merchant P.H. Weary for hardware, oil, and other supplies, as well as a 1940 tax notice and receipt from the Municipality of the County of Halifax and a note requesting payment of insurance fees. 2010.007
Mrs. Stanley Robson fonds

Fonds consists of records of the activities of Mrs. Stanley Robson and includes a copy of a handwritten history of the Clam Harbour United Church by Mrs. Robson, as well as an original handwritten review of the Church’s history. The texts were created in preparation for the 1967 centennial celebrations of the Church, with the review to be used as a sermon to the church’s congregation. Mrs. Robson spent two years preparing the history, and stated that she relied mostly on her memory, with the aid of records and information from other residents of the area. The review includes a brief conclusion and some annotations written in a hand other than Mrs. Robson’s. Accession number: 2010.018
