Collector of Customs at Liverpool fonds

Fonds consists of one letter book (1831-1847) used to copy letters received from the Customs House at Halifax and London, England. The second half of the book was used to record import duties at Liverpool. These statistics were used to make accounts and reports to be submitted to the provincial government.

Fonds consists of one sessional book used to record proceedings of general sessions, which includes decisions on road building and poor relief (Apr. 1810-Apr. 1828) and grand jury decisions, which includes court officers present, names of defendants and plaintiffs and decision for Court of General Sessions of the Peace held at Liverpool Nov. 1816-Dec. 1817; and a list of officers appointed by the Sessions for the Town of Liverpool, 1820.

Fonds consists of one minute book used to record meetings of town proprietors (1760-1843, 1878-1900). Information recorded in this book includes an index to land holders, plans for common lands, collection of monies for church, schools and poor relief. Fonds also contains records regarding the applications for lands, receipts for processing fees and deed searches, surveying information, deeds, indentures and correspondence regarding the alotment of undivided township land (1908-1951).

William Ford fonds
