Fonds consists of an annotated manuscript of the booklet written by Frank A. Doane entitled "Old Times in Barrington", revised in 1944, published in Truro. Also includes a copy of Doane's marriage certificate, and manuscripts of articles for "South Shore Notes" printed in the Truro Daily News printed in the late 1940's, and proofs for his book Old Times. Photograph is of the Doane's Truro home.

Architectural drawings for residence at 38 Dominion Street, Truro, NS.Built in 1903, this 2.5 story wood frame structure was designed by E. D. Vernon. It is an excellent example of the Queen Anne Style with many classical details including bays, gables, fluted Corinthian columns, Palladian windows, and dentils. It was built by Frank Stanfield Sr. for his bride beside the original family property #44. 87.2.2 to 87.2.9

Architectural drawings of 114 Victoria Street, Truro. A Municipally Registered Heritage Property of Art Moderne style with flat roof and curved window section. Designed in 1938 by Truro architect E. D. Vernon for William H. Faltenhine, founder of the "Craftsmen" building supply store which merged with Ontario company to form Halliday Craftsmen Limited in 1923. The house is unique in the town and the drawings show the front and south elevation, ground floor and second floor plans, plan of lot, west and east elevation, basement floor plan, cross section and front of fireplace. 87.2(iii) a & b
