Series forms part of Helen Jennex fonds and consists of material documenting Jennex’s activities as an historical researcher, collector of historical items, and member of the Eastern Shore heritage and museum community. Series is arranged into six sub-series, including illustrations, church drawings, publication layouts, community research, photographs, and publications. Accession number 2009.039

Fonds consists of financial records belonging to William Gaetz including insurance papers, receipts, correspondence, documents related to the estate of Josephine Gaetz, and military pension information. Also included are records related to Gaetz’s time spent serving in WWI, correspondence with soldiers during WWII, records related to Gaetz’s membership in the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, and the Musquodoboit Harbour United Church for which Gaetz acted as treasurer. Church records include financial papers and correspondence, account books, receipts, religious education material, meeting minutes, photographs, insurance documents, and other material. Fonds also includes records pertaining to electoral districts and voters as Gaetz was one of the revisors of the voter lists for his district. In addition, fonds includes lists of officers of the Musquodoboit Harbour Volunteer Fire Department and other material. Accession number 2012.001

Part of Laura F. Stoddard family fonds
Series is part of the Laura F. Stoddard family fonds and consists of one business card for Pringle & London, suppliers of decorative leaded glass including ecclesiastical stained glass and memorial windows as well as importers of antique, cathedral and opal glass. They were located in Toronto and may have been employed by Judge Frederick Montye ‘Monty’ Morson (1853-1944) to supply a new window for the Clam Harbour United Church. Judge Morson stayed at the Stoddard Hotel in Clam Harbour every summer for thirty years and donated a memorial window to the church. Series also includes one black and white photograph of Judge Morson c. 1936. Accession number: 2013.010

Fonds consists primarily of documents related to Katherine L. Stoddard’s research and her interest in genealogy, particularly that of her own family. Stoddard’s records include information related to many Eastern Shore families, including the Stoddard and Ritcey families, as well as local history. Fonds also includes correspondence, cookbooks and handwritten recipes, photographs, postcards, maps, certificates, land grants, yearbooks, deeds, and wills. Accession number: 2013.008

Collection consists of forty monochrome aerial photographs of the Eastern Shore taken between 1931 and 1945. Also includes seven corresponding flight maps. Photographs illustrate the landscapes and coastlines of various locations along the Eastern Shore as they were in 1931-1945. Areas covered by the aerial photographs within this collection include Owl's Head, Little Harbour, Clam Harbour, Burnt Point, Clam Bay, Lake Charlotte, Ship Harbour, Upper Lakeville, Oyster Pond, and the Jeddores. Fonds also contains financial records including insurance policies and tax receipts as well as post office records including ledgers of records of registered mail. Remaining records include permits, dance step instructions, quilt patterns, paintings by Harold Brownhill, a poem by Burns Marks, a label from E. Homan’s clam cannery, a brochure for a Camp Charlotte, a sign erected by the Cranberry Committee, and a business card and photograph of Judge F. M. Morson. Accession number 2013.010
