Fonds consists of ratepayers' minute book of the Overton school and a deed. The minute book records the accounts of the original building of the school, the annual assessment rolls of taxpayers, minutes of meetings of ratepayers, inventory of school property and accounts of expenses. The deed gives land for the schoolhouse to the School Trustees of Section No. 5.
William Rogers fonds

Fonds consists of an account book for the ship Chloe, which was built at Shelburne in 1872 by William J. Kelley. Rogers was principal share owner in conjunction with other Yarmouth merchants. The vessel was sold in 1876. Also included is the account book for the ship William and the brigantine W.A. Rogers, both of which Rogers was principal share owner. The William was built at Tusket in 1873 by George Ross. The W.A. Rogers was built circa 1863 and engaged in trading missions around the world.
