Rachel Wilson Fonds

The fonds contains documents, photographs, and negatives that reflect the community of Bass River, NS, as collected by Rachel Wilson, the creator of the fonds. There are three record series that focus on the Women's Institute of Nova Scotia, in which the creator was heavily involved. The fonds also contains other materials collected by Wilson, including catalogs and scrapbooks. 95.93.1 - 74
Collection · 1994 - 1995
The collection contains the textual, graphic, and audio records of the oral history project. Twelve people from the Truro area were interviewed and the collection is arranged with a series for each interviewee. Audio cassettes and one videotape were recorded during the interviews. Included with each audio cassette is a transcription and a journal written by the student about their experience. Digital videodiscs were later created in 2013 from the audio cassettes for preservation of the recordings. 95.88.1 - 12
