Series forms part of the Musquodoboit Harbour Heritage Society collection and consists of school photographs of students from Musquodoboit Harbour School, grades primary to six. Also included is a group photograph of students in West Jeddore in 1914. In addition, series contains various photographs related to Musquodoboit Harbour, the railway, and local residents. Series forms part of the Musquodoboit Harbour Heritage Society collection and consists of original and copied versions of two land indentures. In the first indenture from 1919, Elizabeth Ogilvie sells Ogilvie Island to Simpson Orr. Ogilvie’s Island was later known as Smeltzers Island and then Beeler’s Island as of 2012. The second indenture involves Simpson Orr selling the island to Lawrence Smeltzer in 1932. The island is located at the head of Petpeswick Harbour and was owned by Jean Beeler in 2000. Series also contains a transcript of a grant from the Crown to George Bayer and John Bayer on the west side of Petpeswick harbour in 1791. Accession number: 2012.001

Series forms part of the Musquodoboit Harbour Heritage Society collection and consists of research and photocopies of material related to various industries and services along the Eastern Shore. Includes an excerpt of a paper written by Mrs. Grace Forsythe on November 20, 1975 regarding the pulpwood industry in the 1930s and transcripts from the Nova Scotian, October, 1852, regarding the postal service on the Eastern Shore and the mail run carried out by William Anderson between Musquodoboit and Halifax. Series also contains photocopies of excerpts of a thesis written by George R. Evans in 1938 regarding gold mining in Nova Scotia in the nineteenth century. Also included is general research about local history of the Eastern Shore and a copy of an article written by Walter Bayer that was published in the Dartmouth Free Press in 1980 and entitled, Musquodoboit Harbour at the Turn of the Century. Series also consists of a document that refers to the heritage Houses of Anderson Road, including the Bayer-Anderson House, John Bayer V House, James Locker House, Georges Bayer VI House, John Mosher House, and Dan Dauphinee House. Also included is a copy of a drawing of the Ben Power House circa 1810 by Joan E. Flewelling in 1979. Series also contains two genealogy charts. The first is that of the Bayer family featuring the descendants of Hans George Bayer I and Eva Catherine Rouche and the second features the John Anderson family of Musquodoboit Harbour showing the connection with the Rowlings family, drawn by Joan Flewelling in 1983. Oral history
Series forms part of the Musquodoboit Harbour Heritage Society collection and consists of transcripts and cassette tape recordings of personal interviews conducted by the Musquodoboit Harbour Heritage Society with various local residents. Interviewees include Etta Mae (Gault) Hilchie, Gladys Ritcey, Lowell Gaetz, Debbie Marks, Awilda Connors, George Slaunwhite, Annie Young, Elliott Slade, Arthur Mannette, Stewart and Dorothy Rowlings, Blanche Baker, Mae Pettipas, Eva Fahie, Dollie Mosher, Clive Monk, Florence Baker, Cora Mason, Gertie Mannette, Lillian Bellefontaine, and Florence Colbert. The interviews were conducted with the goal of gaining information about the community and local residents. Accession number: 2012.001

Series forms part of the Ford Webber fonds and consists of books that may have been used by Ford as a child, including three books (or sections of books) of fairy tales and nursery rhymes. Also included is a copy of an Italian sentence book for soldiers from 1943, which translates common words and sentences from English to Italian, and lastly a planting guide put out by Sears, Robuck, and Co. Series forms part of the Ford Webber fonds and consists of issues of Webbers Shore News, a leaflet published monthly by Ford Webber from the 1980s to 1990s which reported on local news and events in the Lake Charlotte area. Included is a complete run of the publication, featuring issues number one (December 1982) through one hundred eighty-five (June 1998), with the exception of issue number seventy-nine (August 1989), which is missing. Issues include flier catalogues featuring products for sale at Webbers Store. Accession numbers: 2010.017, 2013.023

Series forms part of the Ford Webber fonds and consists of records from Ford’s school years, including examination books, and exercise books containing English compositions, writing exercises, mathematics, health, and other subjects. Also included is a scribbler containing information about baseball games played by students including Ford. In addition, series contains a souvenir card containing poetry given to Ford by his teacher, Doris Dakin, in June of 1945 when he was in grade two. Series also includes two report cards, one quarterly and one monthly; and three certificates showing that he had completed grades two, three, and four. Accession numbers: 2010.017, 2013.023

Part of Eastern Shore Archives map collection
Series forms part of the Eastern Shore Archives map collection and consists of one enlarged map of the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, from about Musquodoboit Harbour to Ship Harbour. The map was given to Thea Wilson-Hammond by an employee of the Halifax Regional Municipality. It was thought that the map could be used during community meetings for presentations given to residents, allowing them to see the area depicted on a larger scale. Accession number: 2013.044
