Subseries forms part of Records of the Secretary-Bursar series and consists of correspondence about donations to Edgehill (1969-1976); blank Preference Share book ca. 1900, for the Church School for Girls, Ltd.; Preference Share book stock stubs (1908-1920); share certificates and letters of transfers (1921-1975); common stock ledger and list of shareholders (1891-1958) and surrendered stock certificates (1891-1943); receipt books for donations (1973-1980); a list of larger contributors to Edgehill over a period of years (ca. 1965). In 1898 an act was passed enabling the school's Board of Directors to issue preferred stock, and at a meeting in 1906, 5000 shares of preferred stock were created at a par value of .00 per share, bearing a cumulative dividend of 6 percent, per annum, payable half-yearly, the proceeds to be applied to paying off the mortgage of the Edgehill Church School for Girls. The purposes of the common stock at the time of the founding of the school were merely evidence of the subscriptions of those interested in starting the school. No dividend was ever paid on this common stock since the founding of the school; the only value of the common stock was voting power in reference to the policy and administration of the school.

records relating to various Edgehill Guild trusts accumulated by the secretary-treasurer. An Endowment Fund was established sometime in the 1930's. The Living Endowment and the Permanent Endowment were established in 1961 at the time of Edgehill's Seventieth birthday. In 1962 the Edgehill Foundation Trust was created for the safe-keeping and investment of the Permanent Endowment. The Canada Permanent Toronto General Trust Co. of Halifax consented to act as trustee for this purpose. The signing officers for the guild at the time included the headmistress of Edgehill, who was also president of the guild. Subseries consists of a ledger of members and dues (1934-1974), and investment information of the Edgehill Guild (1962-1974); treasurer's reports (1968-1985); records of various Edgehill Guild trusts, including the Church School for Girls Trust and information about bond investments, the F.C. Manning Estate Charitable Fund Trust and the Edith L. Carpenter Estate Edgehill Dramatic Prize Fund (1954-1983); receipts for flowers, newsletter printing, and other guild purchases (1968-1985); cancelled cheques and bank books, receipts and financial statements of the Edgehill Guild (1966-1985) and includes correspondence and reports by Irma Barnes, receipts for the Permanent Endowment (1967) and the Edgehill Bed Fund cheque and bank book (1976-1977). The Bed Fund was not a guild account, but was a project started by Headmistress Gail Emmerson, separate from the school accounts and guild accounts.
