Sous-fonds forms part of Wyman family fonds and consists of letters written to Wilfred, a notebook kept by Wilfred while overseas and his personal effects which were returned to his mother upon his death. Also contained with his records is a photograph of Wilfred's girlfriend, Ella Urquhart. Containted among Wilfred's personal effects was a pocket knife, a pipe, watch, scissors, wallet, battalion badge, dog tags and one medal. These items were transferred to the Museum's artifact collection.

Sous-fonds forms part of MacDonald "The Scotchman" Family fonds and consists of a day book used to record planting schedules, harvest dates and daily activities; a voters list of Antigonish County, 1886; and miscellaneous obituaries and clippings. Contained with MacDonald's records at the time of donation were tax notices of Valentine Chisholm, Ashdale, Antigonish County, 1916-1927. It is unknown why they were amongst MacDonald's records.

Sous-fonds consists of Zymergy was formed in 1987 by Sonja Skarstedt and ran until 1991. This bi-annual periodical was the recipient of many Canada Council grants. As the creator, publisher, and editor, Skarstedt was involved in all aspects of the printing process, from editing the content, layout and design to typesetting, paste-ups, and promotion. Skarstedt also interviewed many prominent Canadian authors for Zymergy and contributed book reviews and poetry.This sous-fond consists of four series: photographs, administration, Operational Records Series and Miscellaneous Series. The material found ranges from correspondence with organizations and writers to photographs that appeared in Zymergy. Skarstedt conducted many interviews for Zymergy and other publications, some of these are included in the Operational Records series along with her editorials and reviews. There are also 2 stamps with the Zymergy logo and address that were used for documents.
